| Wranger Academic Cowboy/Cowgirl Scholarship:
We are so pleased to announce this special opportunity for all 8th grade finals competitors courtesy of Wrangler. In addition to all of the other great things this company does for us, they have announced they will be awarding an Academic Scholarship to one 8th grade cowboy and cowgirl at the 2008 WJHFR. The scholarship for each contestant is for $1000.
The following outlines the criteria for this award:
Student must have qualified through state/provincial finals for the 2009 WJHFR Student must be an 8th grade student (for the 2008-2009 season) Student must complete the scholarship application and return it to the Rodeo Office in Gallup, New Mexico by Sunday, June 28th 76:00pm.
Student must be available during the finals for an interview

Please make sure that students fill out THIS application and do not create a different one to turn in. Interviews will be at the finals based on the number of applications we receive by the deadline.
